Clays Golf is renowned for being a family, friendly club with a relaxed atmosphere. In the clubhouse and when using our practice facilities smart/casual wear is permitted. However, we do have a dress code on our 18 hole golf course that must be adhered to at all times.
On The Golf Course
Golf Shoes: Golf shoes must be worn on the golf course as they help with avoiding slips and they also help your golf. Golf specific trainers may be worn on the golf course providing ground conditions are dry. Soft-spikes are preferred. Any other type of shoes or trainers are not permitted.
Trousers & Shorts: Golf trousers or tailored shorts are required. Jeans, coloured denims, combat style trousers/shorts, 3/4 lengths or tracksuits are not permitted.
Golf Shirts & Tops: Golf shirts are required. New style crew neck golf tops are permitted. Football, rugby or t-shirts with slogans or logos are not permitted.
