There are some great ways you can get involved at Clays Golf and make the most out of your golf membership. Whether it’s to make new friends, play golf with your family, gain your first handicap, play in competitions or simply play golf. With the help of our friendly Golf Team and PGA Professionals, you can do it all at Clays Golf.
The Members Club
Clays Golf is owned and operated by GCMC Wrexham LTD who are responsible for the overall management of the facilities at the golf club. Working alongside the management team, is your Members Club. Comprising of an elected Council Committee. Their role is to oversee and promote a friendly environment in which members can enjoy a programme of social and competitive golf throughout the year.
Discounted Members Rates
All members can enjoy discounted prices on guest green fees, buggy and trolley hire, all year round. Members can invite up to three guests everyday at a reduced guest green fee rate. Larger groups and members golf societies can also be accommodated by speaking to a member of our team in the Golf Reception.

Handicap Application
Regardless of your membership category, all Clays Golf members are eligible to apply for a handicap. Members who wish to obtain or renew their handicap after each year, are required to pay an annual handicap fee which covers the Clays Golf Members Club Levy, Wales Golf & Denbighshire Golfing Union affiliation fees. Practice and Coaching
Looking to get some practice in? Whilst you’re at the golf club, why not hit some balls on our Toptracer range before you play. Your membership card is connected to the driving range and can be topped up at the Golf Reception. To check your remaining balance, simply swipe your card in the machine on the driving range. If you’re in need of a lesson or some helpful advice on your golf game, our PGA Professionals are always on hand.
