Supplementary Scores

Keeping your handicap active

With the introduction of the new handicap system in Autumn 2020, it is important that all members have a playing history with 20 qualifying scores if possible.

A good way to achieve this is to return a Supplementary Score. You can return as many Supplementary Scores as you like, over either the 9 hole course (playing holes 1-9) or 18 hole course.

Supplementary scores build a playing history. They also give you something to play for when playing social golf. Please follow our step by step guide below on how to submit a supplementary score whilst COVID-19 restrictions apply.

How to submit your scores

  1. You must first inform irwinelkin@talktalk.net that you intend to play.
  2. You must have a marker to confirm your score.
  3. You keep your own scores, not on a card (currently unavailable) but any way you choose.
  4. Email your scores to irwinelkin@talktalk.net.
  5. These scores will be entered on to the computer system. It will automatically make any necessary adjustments to your handicap. You will be notified of a change in playing handicap.
