After yet another dreadful month of wet and cold weather, further course maintenance work has continued, here’s a summary of what’s been happening…

  • Greens have been pencil tined (spiked) and slit to help with drainage and compaction.
  • Tees have also been slit and spiked.
  • Drainage and surrounding ditches on the 6th and 7th holes have been cleared out and pathways re-surfaced.
  • Trees have been trimmed to a presentable and manageable height. Branches were then chipped to be re-used on pathways.
  • Tee signs are ready to be installed; we are waiting on a dry spell of weather to install them.

New owners, Bill and Barbara are currently in the process of investing over £150,000 into brand new machinery and equipment. Plans are also being drawn up for new green keeping sheds. This investment will no doubt prove to be a major factor to help the golf course reach its full potential and provide you long term with a well presented and superb conditioned golf course all year round.

We’ve moved! Our brand new golf reception and membership office is now located at the front of the building. The new reception has been completely revamped and is now a much more welcoming place to check in for your round of golf, top up your driving range card or to simply a have a chat about your membership with our friendly team.

There’s still some finishing touches left to do outside the golf reception which will include new signage and an easy access door.
